Job Summary

The City of Harrison has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Office Assistant. This position requires the applicant to live within 30 minutes of the city of Harrison.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Office Assistant will perform administrative work to support the Mayor and City Council as well as general office duties. Preparing information packets for Council meetings, providing customer service, answering phones and filing are some of the responsibilities of this position. Along with attending, recording and taking minutes for the Planning & Zoning Commission and committee meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required. Experience in an office preferred. Organization skills and records management skills desired.

Job Type: Part-time

$10.00 - $12.00 and hour depending on experience
