Public Hearing on Keith Shannon's application for annexation and rezone is scheduled for March 17th at 6:30 PM at City Hall.  An initial application and information about his development plans is available for review at City Hall. A complete application is available for review by the public at City Hall during normal business hours Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you would like to review the application and are not able to come to City Hall, please call us at 689-3212 to have a copy of the information mailed to you.

Keith Shannon is requesting annexation of 104 acres and a rezone of three parcels to Mixed Use; one parcel to Shoreline District; and, two parcel to Heavy Manufacturing.

The Public Hearing was held on April 7th. The hearing was left open until April 21st for written comment from Idaho DEQ and Idaho Department of Lands. The two agencies were asked for comment along with other agencies with jurisdiction in February. No comment was received at that time. The P&Z Commissioners felt that their input was of particular interest and therefore decided to request comment a second time. Planning and Zoning will have their regular meeting on April 21st and plans are to begin deliberation on the application at that time.

A Proposed Ordinance Amendment to Title 1, Chapter 8, Area of City Impact Administration and Enforcement was reviewed by P&Z on April 7th and will be recommended to City Council for approval.
